Amazing location, located within the historic fortress-city of Marvão and yet easy to reach by car (it is located on the first square immediately after entering the city gates, with ample parking, so you don't have to navigate the narrow winding streets). The room has a beautiful panorama over the valley (looking northeast, across the Spanish border), as well as a stunning view of the castle from the balcony (looking northwest). The staff is very kind and attentive; even though it was very quiet at the hotel (it seemed I was the only guest), they still served me an extensive breakfast.

He was great .a huge thank you Car parking an asset in the town The renovation and decor of the hotel is beautiful.

The location and the rooms. Everything was surprisingly high quality considering the hotel is in a small town. The service, parking, THE BREAKFAST was wonderful. A special THANK YOU to all the staff that looked after us, far and beyond. Lively, marvelous breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the Shower, wow! Super nice.

Portalegre São Mamede Dağları'nın yemyeşil ormanları ile çevrili bu eski manastır; çeşitli tarihi zırhlar, dokumalar ve antikalarla dekore edilmiştir. Tesisi çevreleyen bahçede açık havuz vardır. The hosts/owners and their daughters were very nice and welcoming. The bed and overall comfort were also pretty good. They have 3 donkeys and one of them is pregnant so expect a new little one in a few weeks if you visit.

Marvão'da geleneksel beyaz badanalı 2 küçük evde yer alan bu büyüleyici Pousada, restoranından çevredeki dağların muhteşem manzarasını sunmaktadır. Otelin klimalı odalarında kablo TV mevcuttur. Although the accommodation was simple, it was spacious and comfortable.The view from the dining room was astounding and breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It is a small hotel in a beautiful green place. We had been upgraded to (2) rooms with balcony and a view of the restaurant and the river and the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed that very much and thank you for that bonus. The breakfast was good, not excellent,We tried to convince the lady to make for us eggs sunny side up but we got scrambled eggs. It is not a big deal. Al in all it is a beautiful, nice and very clean place to stay. Well worth the money.
