The Golden Frog Inn has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Valle de Anton. I highly recommend this place. The staff was always helpful and smiling (even when the guests were being difficult). I loved how beautiful the different rooms/apartments were arranged. Everything was close, but still secluded. The gardener team is doing great work. I would like to have all these beautiful plants at home. There was something new to discover every day. The rooms were cleaned daily and the water can in the room refilled as well. We also loved the bar with the pool table which we used every night. Welcome drink was a very nice gesture and the fresh juice tasted so good. You can choose from a lot of options for breakfast. Just the portions of jam and butter were sometimes calculated a little bit too small. You can hike up the El Pastoreo in about 10-15 minutes and admire the beautiful sunset or sunrise from there if you do not want to hike up the crater rim. It is right behind the hotel. Design, Location in the mountains, view, tranquility, atmosphere. The food at the (only) restaurant up there was delicious, but it’s not included in the price. In order to have this remote and calm location, you should be aware of the steep and bumpy road to get there. We did it with a regular rental car and it was okay, but we would recommend to do the first ride at daylight.

Just one block off of the main strip in El Valle, it’s lovely and much quieter, but still walking distance to the butterfly sanctuary, the geothermal springs, and the downtown restaurants and shops. Cute little pool in the back, hammocks all over, and a yard that has a bunch of spots to sit and chill or order food/drinks- it was a fantastic place to stay!

Casa Guardia Panamá er staðsett við hliðina á ströndinni í El Farallón de Chirú, 140 km frá borginni Panama. Á Casa Guardia geta gestir valið á milli herbergja, svíta og alls villunnar. Tony's attention was excellent, he offered to upgrade our room to a nicer space so we were more than confortable there. Dinner at the restaurant with them was really nice, Tony played some music , food was delicious. Our evening could not have been better there! And of course, the breakfast had everything we could have asked for, delicious.

The owner is so nice! Gave me lots of information and showed me few rooms. My room was basic but cozy and very clean. The hammocks on the second floor with the view made my stay perfect. Place to relax and enjoy some quiet time after a hike. Lots of restaurants and super markets downstairs and in front of the hotel. Nice location. Bus station.
