Set in Hokitika, 47 km from Greymouth Railway Station, Woodstock Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Quiet clean room, but close enough to Hokitika. Easy to get to Gorge. Great room, comfy bed! Wish we took advantage of the cool brewing restaurant.

Hokitika Pioneer Hotel is an old style country pub with attached accommodation. With a casino, the property also features a garden. Guests can dine in the in-house restaurant or relax in the bar. Staff were very welcoming and friendly (thank you Sue). Locals hang out at the bar in the evenings which adds a nice vibe to the place. Everything in Hokitika within walking distance.

Located on the west coast of the south island, Theatre Royal Hotel offers a restaurant and a bar. The themed rooms offer antique furnishings and cable TV. Some rooms include free WiFi access. We liked absolutely everything! The staff was very helpful, food was excellent and the room was equipped with all necessary items and even more! We would love to come back!

Franz Josef Oasis åpnet i 2014 og har 20 luksuriøse rom med gratis WiFi. Hotellet ligger bare 10 minutters kjøring fra Franz Josef-breen. If only we could have stayed longer. Literally this is an oasis of tranquility after visiting the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers. A beautiful, garden setting on the north side of Franz Josef. We sat out on the decking overlooking the pond late afternoon listening to birdsong. The rooms were amazing, spacious, well planned with a huge bed and large bathroom. We paid for continental breakfast and were very happy the selection.

The Terrace offers 4-star accommodation with an on-site restaurant. Located in the centre of Franz Josef, on a quiet street, The Terrace offers free unlimited WiFi and free onsite parking. Room was clean, warm and comfortable with cooking facilities. Location perfect for walking to shops, cafes, restaurants and tour guides

Located within walking distance from the impressive Fox Glacier, Te Weheka Boutique Hotel offers modern, spacious rooms with satellite TV. Each room has a balcony, overlooking the lush countryside. Staff member was so helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy

Surrounded by natural rainforest on New Zealand's West Coast, Te Waonui Forest Retreat is a short drive from Franz Josef Glacier. Guests enjoy free WiFi. A lovely stay for a couple of nights. Complimentary drink and hot towel on arrival is a nice touch. Free bottled mineral water each day we were there. The location is stunning and the staff were are lovely and professional. Close walk to nearby amenities. Only thing that would have made it better is if the spa was opened during winter time.
