The best hotel on our road trip so far. We were upgraded to suites which were lovely. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

This place is really something special. Fabulous interiors with all comforts and many extra touches. Food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. Loved it.

Margrain Vineyard Martinborough offers stylish villas, luxury suites and gatehouse rooms, set in a vineyard with stunning views. The vineyard features an on-site café. Late arrival and early departure…so no real personal interaction. Yet it was clear what was what and all went well. We drank local bottle of wine and left note asking to charge us if we did not have this service included with room rate

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this is a beautifully appointed apartment. This is definitely accommodation we will remember. The extra touches made us feel so welcomed.

I highly recommend this place. The hosts were very hospitable friendly and reliable. There was everything we needed and it was spotless, clean tidy and great interior decor. Off-street parking a bonus. Fenced off property with private back yard and outdoor area, perfect for our little dog. Everything provided for breakfast, great value for money. Very comfortable beds. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Shy Cottage and Studio in Greytown provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and barbecue facilities. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.... Lovely, generous continental breakfast in the room as ordered. Beautiful high quality, NZ branded soap, shampoo, body moisturiser etc. Generous amounts of towels. Coffee machine with high quality pods waa appreciated. Private cottage, able to enjoy the privacy and quiet.

Cruz Inn is situated in Featherston and offers barbecue facilities. The property features garden and inner courtyard views. Had a lovely stay. The host was very nice.

Situated in Martinborough in the Wellington region, Swan House has a patio. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Reasonable stroll to the main square of town where there are many restaurants and a grocery store. Wineries are plentiful and close by and the area is flat so taking one of the Swan House loaner bikes is a nice way to explore. There is also a pedi-cab rental in the center of town. Exceptionally clean! Quiet for sleeping. Also very dark. Patio area is large and shared. “Double or Twin Room” (#3) is on the end and thus has lots of windows and only one shared wall. Owner’s welcome was genuine and appreciated. Continental breakfast included: coffee (instant or n espresso), teas (10 different varieties!), yogurt, cereal, toast (Honey, Marmite, Peanut Butter or 3 varieties of fruit jam), fruit cup, milk, and juice. It’s all in the room so you can eat what and when you want. No cooking facilities in the rooms but that was as expected/made clear in the listing. If saving money thru self-catering is your aim you can manage well enough with the provided continental breakfast, picnic lunch, and a take-away dinner.
