Good morning, From the practical aspect, this is an exceptionally comfortable chalet to live in! It has continuous hot running water supply in the bathroom and kitchen, the kitchen has all the necessary appliances and cutlery for cooking, the living room has a well set up fireplace with good quality dry wood, which is easy to make fire from. Also, there is a washing machine and a dryer for the clothes, a vacuum cleaner, a heater in the bedroom, a big TV in the living room and many board games to play. Located in Mt Lyford, within 9 km of Mt. Lyford, Charlies Cabin - Mt Lyford offers accommodation with air conditioning. Gorgeous log cabin, decorations and views. It was so comfortable and warm, plus you can't beat a hot tub after a day on the mountain. Wifi was a bit of an unexpected bonus for an NZ cabin, but helpful for planning the next day of travel!

Situated in Mt Lyford and only 12 km from Mt. Lyford, Lake Stella Mountain Huts features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Such a unique and incredible spot. We absolutely loved the views, the bath, the coziness of the cabin and all the thought that had gone into the place. A sheltered picnic area! Simple instructions for the bath, having maps on hand and even just little things like oil in the kitchen. Everything was so peaceful; we stayed in the tub until after dark and listened to frogs croaking. 10/10 idyllicness.

Leader Valley Cottage - A Tranquil Retreat For Two is a lovingly restored 1900's cottage nestled within a beautifully established garden, set in the Leader Valley. The cottage was lovely and comfortable. We really appreciated the option to recharge our electric car.

The Morgans is set in Waiau. The property is non-smoking and is located 34 km from Mt. Lyford. At the capsule hotel, every room comes with a terrace. I absolutely loved this tiny house. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed an extra night as we loved the place so much. Highly recommend to stay here. Thanks for Deb and Jason for an awesome stay.

Located in Hammer Springs and surrounded by forest, Alpine Holiday Apartments and Campground offers comfortable accommodation in quiet and peaceful surroundings. We booked a cabin for 3 nights. Us and our 2yr old and 4yr old. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It has a lovely little deck area then onto a lawn which was perfect for the children. A playground in the main camping area also fab. Toilets and showers really close. Everything was clean and the owners are lovely. We had such a great time.
