Beautiful service, beautiful food, beautiful clean deluxe suite. We enjoyed everything about the Northern Wairoa Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and hospitable.

Set in Mangawhai in the Northland region, Mangawhai Heads apartment features a garden. The property has inner courtyard views. The apartment was very warm, comfortable and well laid out. It had everything we needed. The hosts were exceptionally nice, and communication was excellent. Breakfast was ample and delicious. The garden was beautiful and short drive (or moderate walk) to beach, shops, restaurants, and the cliff walk. We really enjoyed our visit and highly recommend.

Located in Mangawhai in the Northland region, The Ridge features a patio. This villa features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. beautiful accommodation in a great setting. everything was of a high standard and very comfortable. much better than expected.

Second stay at Dune View, anytime I stay in Mangawhai in the future this will be my first choice. Fantastic location with easy walking and driving distance to everything you will need for your stay, not to mention how clean and comfortable the accommodation itself is.

You are surrounded by nature and a close drive to Te Arai Beach (where you can take surf lessons as well). We only stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The place clean, sunny and the oerfect size for two ppl with baggage. We would definetly come back if we could! Very good prize for what is offered.

Located within walking distance to many dining options, Heads Up offers a garden, a BBQ area and accommodation with a deck and free WiFi. We really enjoyed our one-night stay at Heads Up - the studio is spacious, with a comfortable bed and good shower (large bathroom). The hosts are awesome - they brightened our (very rainy) day with avocados, and a complimentary plate of guacamole + nachos. Great location, as well. It's really nice to have your coffee in the morning sun, looking at the beautiful view from the terrace (you can see the ocean in the distance).

Featuring free WiFi and a barbecue, Tokatoka views Farmstay offers pet-friendly accommodation in Ruawai. Free private parking is available on site. Some units have a seating area where you can relax. It would take me a whole day to list everything I liked about my stay but I’ll name the key players. Firstly, the hosts Peter and Sara were such welcoming and friendly people. As soon as I arrived they invited me to have dinner with them, and we finished off a lovely night in with a game of Rummikub. Secondly, the location is just stunning. Peter took me to see the dairy farm next door and even let me have a go milking the cows (not by hand haha), and after he took me on a hike up the local mountain which had a 360 degree view of the landscapes. Also an honourable mention goes to the tens of animals I met while staying there - my fave were Sara’s horses. It was the best way I could’ve kicked off my NZ trip. Thanks so much Peter and Sara for having me! I would recommend this place 100 times over.
