This charming old mansion is set in the countryside a few kilometers from Balclutha town with very accommodating hosts. It has a beautiful garden and is in really peaceful surroundings. We had a wonderful relaxing time there. The free breakfast was stunning, including juice, a wide range of cereal choices, home made white bread and home made fruit loaf. A wide choice of spreads included home made apricot jam and marmalade. A high end coffee machine was easy to use and produced lovely coffee. Kaka Point apartments was an exceptional property. It was like a model home. Beautifully furnished, clean, modern bathroom, plenty of tea and coffee, towels etc. The view from the apartment was stunning. We watched a sea lion on the beach one evening. We kept the curtains open at night so we could see the nighttime sky. It was just a short walk down to the beach. Wish we had stayed longer. Everything was perfect and even better than that.
