Located in Oslo and within 4.5 km of Oslo Central Station, Radisson RED Oslo Økern features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Reception all happy and helpful, and made the place feel warm on a cool day. Very well executed breakfast buffet. That did not just do the right choices, but did them just right. Not vegans ourselves, but great variety in non-fish, non-dairy options, appealing fresh vegetables and fruits (including sliced onions, forgotten hero of buffets), warm dishes and müsli. Fish options cool too (coming from Sweden – wot? no pickled herrings? – vive la différence).

First of all, a very good system for checking, entry into rooms and leaving suitcases after check-in. The accommodation is in a prime location, literally within walking distance of everything important. It is superbly connected with transportation. The accommodation itself is precise with many beautiful little details that contribute to an even better impression (thermos, polaroid camera, etc.). Also, the communication via whatsup is excellent because they literally answer in 5 minutes.

Binuksan noong Setyembre 2018, matatagpuan ang hotel na ito sa tabi ng Storo Storcenter shopping center, sa pagitan ng Storo at Nydalen neighborhood ng Oslo, na humigit-kumulang 5 km mula sa city... The breakfast was absolutely excellent! It had it all :-D The room was good-sized with two(!) comfy arm chairs and a desk. The shower was really good with both a handheld mouthpiece and a large overhead one. There was also plenty of space for you luggage.The bed was also comfy and not too soft (I like beds tending towards the firm end of the spectrum). Another detail I appreciated was the main power switch for the room. It was the ordinary solution where you are supposed to insert your key card in order to activate the power. However, here there was already a card in the switch and all you had to do was to press it in a bit when you arrive, and pull it out slightly when you leave the room. No risk to forget your card, nice!
