Everything about this hotel is amazing! The staff was great! I planned the trip last minute as a solo traveler and they accommodated me in such an amazing way. The manager of the hotel scheduled someone to pick me up from the airport 2 hours away at midnight. They allowed me to take a room given I wasn’t suppose to check in until 2:00pm the following afternoon. The food was amazing! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pool was amazing! This place is a dream. I had such an amazing stay I will travel back with family and friends soon.

Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Merzouga. This was a truly amazing experience staying at the camp. I wish I stayed longer but 2 nights and 1 full day were full of adventures, spectacular views and memorable moments. Our hosts did everything they could to make sure we feel comfortable. We travelled the whole day to get to Mersouga by car and were very tired. But they cooked dinner specifically for us and it was delicious. During the next day we were exploring the desert, visited nomad family and had a traditional dinner at a real berber house. There are other activities available like ATV driving, camel riding and etc. I cannot express what a beautiful sunset we had from the top of a dune. Later that eep evening we sat by the fire and listened traditional drum beats. All in all, these 2 days were something else and I wish to return there in the future.

Tassili Luxury Desert Camp in Merzouga features a garden and a terrace. The accommodation provides room service, a business centre and currency exchange for guests. We spent a lot of time looking for a unique, small camp and Tassili Luxury Camp exceeded our expectations. We had 2 tents for our family of 6. One double tent, and the 4 kids were in the family tent which easily would sleep 5+ people as there was a King size bed and 3 twins. Dinner was served in the main dining tent and the food and service was delicious! I forgot to request Vegetarian (for me) prior to arrival, and they made us a fabulous vegetarian tajin dish which the whole family devoured. We also had a tasty Chicken dish and traditional Moroccan soup which as also delicious. The staff was very welcoming and performed for us around the fire after dinner. We had a fun night listening to them sing and play music on the drums and then we moved into telling jokes! The benefit of a small camp is that we only had 8 other guests for our stay! I wish we had another night, as we had to leave early and could not take advantage of the Sandboarding or camel rides through the Sahara! I would recommend arriving earlier in the day so you can take advantage of the offerings at the camp!

Located in the South of Morocco, Palais du Désert and Spa is a luxurious castle-style hotel at the gates of Erfoud and close to the palmgrove. The staff were super nice and welcoming. The guide that took us to the Sahara was very friendly and explained to us everything we wanted to know. Everyone was super nice. Lots of options for breakfast if you eat dairy products. A bit harder as a vegan but still had options!
