Very nice place. Quiet, close to the park and sea, has a good restaurant on the same territory. Awesome staff, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, mini bar prices are much lower than I could expect.

We spent one night in this hotel. We liked everything but didn't have breakfast as we decided to go to Old Town for breakfast so cannot comment on that. + Comfy bed + Stylish interior + Friendly staff + Location - just 15 minute walk away from an Old Town of Kuldiga + Space outside has hammocks, tables and seats so you can enjoy glass of wine on fresh air

Almost all in the family agreed that it was the finest hotel they may have stayed. Room amenities galore and nice products.

The Turkish bath at Usma Manor was a great body rejuvenating treatment for this cool spring weather.

The breakfast in the restaurant also was great with high quality products and ingredients.

Everything was good, the room was lovely and comfortable with TV, Fan, tea and Coffee facility. Breakfast was ample and enjoyable every morning (particularly the beautiful pancakes). The hotel is idealy situated located within a short stroll to all the places of interest and right beside the local bus service (Blue Bus #22) if your feeling lazy. Nice garden and veranda out the back to relax on nice sunny evenings.

Second time visiting, as a room happened to open up last second. Hosts are very helpful, central location, and very reasonable rates make Portoss a great pick. Breakfast available for a small fee is warm and filling. Appreciate that they welcomes our small dog too!

the landlord is uncomplicated and really helpful. There were no problems by check-in and check-out. They are very flexible. the shared sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly. the water on site is drinkable, even if it has a strong aftertaste (I only drank it boiled) we loved it.

Staying here was magical! Lying in bed overlooking the Baltic was so relaxing. I took a long walk on the beach and only saw 2 other people the whole time. It was absolutely perfect for relaxing and getting away from the craziness of the big cities. Absolutely worth the several hour drive from Riga. The night sky was one of the top 2 night skies I have ever seen, being able to see every star in the sky and the Milky Way streaking across the heavens. It was an absolute highlight of my Latvia & Estonia trip. Bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean and had cute decor and even some cute battery powered string lights.
