A piscina é óptima e bem cuidada. Os quartos espaçosos e limpos. Foi dos sítios onde fomos mais bem recebidos e com refeições óptimas!

Everything was amazing. We can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Upul. He was so kind, and helped us with everything we needed. He is the best! He made us feel so special and welcome. Thank you for everything Upul. You made our stay even better! We didn’t want to leave this place! Everything is clean, beautiful and peaceful. Really feels like the best holiday ever here.

Randy and his family were amazing host, the friendliest you can ever find in Sri Lanka, always willing to help and give attention. Food (both breakfast and dinner) were really tasty. Randy took us on his motorbike to visit the amazing landscape and lake around. We felt good from the very beginning and felt sad to leave such great people and souls.

Amazing service, friendly people, great room, breakfast was perfect and we had 2 dinners which were really good. They organized a private safari for Yala National park and it was perfect. Everything we needed was included and the driver got us to the front of the line as they had planned everything well the day in advance.

We just stayed for one night so we could do a Safari in the Yala National park. We chose Lavender Home because it was walking distance (1km) from the bus station and because they could arrange a safari tour including breakfast. The place is run by really kind and helpful people who did their best to make our stay as great as possible.The rooms are nice with a terrace overlooking the rice paddies. At arrival we received a welcome juice with fruit from their own garden. In the evening we had a lovely homemade dinner including typical Sri Lankan dessert. The safari the next day was great! The owner arranged a private driver who knew the right places and took the time so we could take pictures and look at the animals. We left at 4:45 in the morning so we were at the gates as one of the first, before the park opened. We saw multiple groups of elephants (including baby), wild boar, deer, crocodiles, mongoose, monkeys, various birds and 1 very distant leopard. When we got back around 12 we still had access to our room so we were able to have a shower and pack our bags very relaxed. The owner arranged a free tuktuk for us to the bus station so we did not even have to walk. If you are planning to visit Yala (or another NP) we would definitely recommend Lavender House!

The lodge is very comfortable and I didn’t even know a „tent“ can look so beautiful inside! It has everything you need. The lodges are right in front of a beautiful lake from where you can see a beautiful sunrise (if you getvuo early of course). The staff went above and beyond to make this stay so wonderful. The even arranged a traditional Sinhalese/Tamil new years celebration with delicious food and funny games. It was such a wonderful experience. The food was extraordinary and SamPath and all the other staff members are a 10 out of 10! We were also able to book a safari with Flameback and I think they offer a lot more excursions (we only stayed 2 nights that’s why we only booked a safari) I highly recommend this place

They were extremely helpful and fixed everything for us. They will set up the safari for you, with everything included, even breakfast and morning coffee at 4:30 am. The stay includes a mini safari around the local lake for free, highly recommended. The rice and curry at the hotel was good! Everything was just perfect! The rooms very clean and good space.
