The wonderful place to stay, friendly owner (Nimal), the best rice and curry we've ever tried in Sri Lanka! The room has all basic things you need: comfortable bed and pillows, hot shower with good water pressure, AC. The hotel surrounded by forest, just 2 mins to Sinharaja NP office, but many endemic animals can be seen right from your balcony! I've photographed a couple of grey hornbills (male and female), blue magpie and even purple-faced langurs (thanks to Nimal again!). We've spent just one night there, but it's definitely worth a longer stay if you have enough time to relax in peaceful jungle area. P.S. Inside Sinharaja forest we were guided by Nadika (ask her at the national park office). She's a good guide and even found a pair of Sri Lanka frogmouths for us [you're hardly find these birds yourself ;)]

We had a lovely two day stay at Vini Villa, the facilities are great (clean and large shower and large bed), the Sri Lankan food that Vini's wife prepares is really good. We did the 6h day tour with Vini in the reserve and the night tour. Both were great, saw plenty of lizards, insects and birds and went swimming in the waterfall. Can only recommend, we had a very pleasant stay.

Really magical place. The owners are unbelievably cute and prepared us amazing dinner and breakfast and we’re really really welcoming. The view of the room and the sitting area was stunning. It was hard to leave as they really make everything to make you feel at home. Absolutely recommendable. Booking shows the property on the map. On the point on the main road there is a little way down in the forest and that’s where the rainforest view guesthouse is. So if you arrive at night and you can’t find it straight away - just call the number in the profile and they come pick you up.

El Sinharaja Forest Edge se encuentra junto al bosque de Sinharaja, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. We had a flawless stay at this wonderful place. Everything was perfect, from the impeccable service to the delightful food. The affordable prices added to the overall satisfaction, and the inclusion of a fantastic nightclub made our experience even more enjoyable. A solid 5 stars from us!

Sinharaja Hostel tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Deniyaya. El alojamiento tiene un bar y un restaurante que sirve cocina internacional. The forest tour that was organized by the owner was great, we requested for a short tour as our stay was short. Owner was good enough to accommodate our need, thanks. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and well versed in English. We loved the peacefulness when it hits dark, the hotel and surrounding were extremely quite, the only noises we heard were the insects and frog, we loved the serenity. Food was good and quick. We loved the location of the open restaurant, it was raining at the time, we got real rain forest experience. Rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. We loved the hospitality of the staff. There is nothing to complaint. We would definitely go there once again with kids when we can.

Great authentic Sri Lankan food, cooked to local heat levels, which suits me as a British born Sri Lankan plus my sudu family. :) Great trek through jungle with Pradeep & really nice to talk to his elder brother Saman.

They were Very welcoming, recieved us with a natural juice. The food was really good and well served, Very big portions. All the family was very attentive and concerned with our well-being. The view was very nice.
