There's a private outdoor onsen that required booking but it's free. There's also public onsen. Everyone was friendly and rooms are cozy. Lovely view outside hotel and lovely tempura dinner and breakfast.

It was a very nice house with ample free parking for 2-3 cars. The host even has a Handheld Translator Device that we find it very useful as most local people in Hokkaido do not understand English.
