Hotel Pacific Kanazawa is located just a 15-minute walk from JR Kanazawa Train/Bullet Train Station. Free WiFi and a bicycle rental service are available on site. There is a small cafe at the ground floor that you can get coffee in the morning without having to go far. I personally like the soy latte (JPY480) and it is by far the best latte i had in Japan over the past few weeks. The room is spacious and you can link youtube to the TV. There are vending machine and laundry room available. The bathroom in the room that I was staying comes with a bathtub. The hotel is quite centric, about 20 minutes away from Kanazawa station and to most of the attractions. There are convenient stores within 5 min walk, some eateries nearby and Omicho Market is literally just next door.

The coastal drive from Noto via Suzu was beautiful. In Wajima there was a free Gojingo Daiko performance at the kiriko museum. The morning market was enjoyable. The Ishikawaken Wajimashitsugei Museum was worth visiting.

Kanazawa is an elegant and quaint city in the ishikawa prefecture. People are friendly and seem to be a little more conservative than other cities in Japan. It is a beautiful city and I will keep on visiting this city to discover more whenever I get to visit Japan again. I have definitely left my heart in Kanazawa for its hospitality and beauty.

While the place was out of the way from the main city of Kanazawa, the trade off was a quiet suburban neighbourhood of Japan, very close to a supermarket and an amazing sushi restaurant called Nishikawaya we had 12 freshly made nigiri for a very reasonable price.

Nice japanese style room. Room was spacios, well prepared and aquiped. Great and interesting experience. Hotel provides public baths as well as provate bath for 3300 💴. We took a nice private bath. Recomend. As well you can order a massage or use a massage machine. Foot bath are as well very nice. Breakfast was japanese style, quite a good choice. At 21:00 there was a drums performance. There are a free hotel shuttle to take you from station. All in all great experiance.

Excellent stay, and the view of the bay from the room was amazing. Both meals were delicious, and we had them in a private room. Also, there were a few private baths. The service staff were amiable and helpful. It is worth a trip to this remote area of the Noto Peninsula.

We had a suite with the private onsen which was fantastic. So peaceful, relaxing and romantic. It was expensive at nearly 70,000 yen (approx $700 AUD) per night and we stayed two nights, but the experience was totally worth it. If you can, definitely get this room. The little town of Yamanakaonsen is only about a 15 minute walk and has a convenience store and other gift shops. We found a lovely spot down by the river. The staff were all excellent, as I have found in all Japanese hotels, but I want to make a special mention about a young Indonesian lady (Sushi) who waited on our table. She explained the extensive menu in Japanese to my Japanese wife and again in English to me. Her bubbly personality was a delight. The food was outstanding, top quality and plentiful. Overall one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The onsen in your room overlooking the river and forest was just perfect.
