Featuring a spa and wellness centre, Waqoo Naritasanmonzen 和空 成田山門前 is set in Narita in the Chiba region, 41 km from Kouinzan Honkouji Temple and 45 km from Shopping Mall SHOPS. It was an very modern an luxury stay with an amazing location, just a 5min taxi ride from the train station. The rooms, and the modern large shared baths were amazing to relax in after a long flight in. The traditional breakfast was the best one we had in all our stay in Japan and highly recommend splurging a bit to unwind after the long flight into Japans and all the custom and train ticket lines.

Staff was exceedingly friendly and caring, even checking multiple times if everything was alright with the room and the meals. The meals themselves were very nice, varied and delicious. The dinner had a large amount of meat for Japanese standards, which was nice. You can reserve the bath in advance for an hour, which is great. The bath itself is very hot and relaxing, I enjoyed it a lot. If I am ever back in Kamogawa, I will be coming back here.

Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama is the official hotel of Tokyo Disney Resort, located on the eastern side of Tokyo Bay, just 20 minutes by train from Tokyo Station. One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in! The lobby is really impressive. The staff is amazing and helpful. Everything you need is in the hotel (shop, Disney shop, ATM, restaurants) The room is very spacious, the bed are huge (to Japanese and European Standards!) 10mins walk from TDL (much faster than the monorail! And a quiet walk after a day at the park is great), and 5mins walk to Bayside Station, to get to TDS in no time. View on the park is great!
