Just 350 metres from Aka Island’s ferry terminal, the completely non-smoking Hanamuro Inn offers simple air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and shared bathrooms. This is one of my favourite places to stay in all my worldwide travels. Apart from Aka island being the cutest and calmest island with the best snorkeling, this hotel always makes the trip. The owners of this property are so nice and always willing to help you with anything. The rooms have everything you need and the bathrooms are always clean. There is a communal kitchen with a kettle, fridge and microwave you can use if you don’t feel like eating out. The outdoor space is the absolute highlight though. It has tables and chairs and two outdoor bathtubs, perfect to relax in after a day at the beach. They also rent out snorkeling gear and push bikes to make your stay incredibly easy. They gave us a map of all the beaches with local knowledge on the best snorkeling too. I first stayed here by myself and made sure I brought friends with me the next trip. They all said out of all the places we stayed on the trip that this was their favourite. Thank you for such a wonderful stay again, I will definitely be back.

Set in Zamami and with Ama Beach reachable within 100 metres, Dining & Stay 38 Miyahira offers a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. Very clean and tidy property, immediately next to beautiful AMA beach where you can see green sea turtles, coral reefs and colourful fish. The owners are very kind and we enjoyed chatting with them as well as the delicious food Miyahira san prepared for breakfast and dinner. We are giving 10/10 for this stay and looking forward to be back!

Located in Ama, 100 metres from Ama Beach and 300 metres from Gahi Beach, エスポアールあま offers air conditioning. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Host was so nice and hospitable! She offered to pick us up from the port, and the next morning arranged for her staff to drive us to Furuzamami beach. She even gave a ride to my friend who was staying at a different hotel. The property was just as pictured. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast at the host's food stand was delicious! I would definitely stay here again.

Everything! Location is lovely it’s just 2 mins walk to Ama beach, perfect sunset beach and for turtle spotting! The tatami room smells so lovely and is super clean. Strong and silent AC, quiet room, and the shared bathrooms are super clean! Honestly the most clean stay on the Kerama Islands. I especially love the warm hospitality and dinner was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend dinner in the minshuku. I’d definitely come back!

Located in Ama, 300 metres from Ama Beach, ペンションパティオハウスリーフ provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The location and the staff are SOO kind. It's lovely its so homely.

Situated in Zamami, within 1.4 km of Furuzamami Beach and 1.5 km of Ama Beach, サンメール座間味 features accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private parking... The best hotel in the island, in the middle of the main area, also very close to the port.

يقع Cha Villa المخصص بالكامل لغير المدخنين على بعد 110 متر فقط من محطة عبارات Zamami ويوفر غرف غربية ويابانية مع خدمة الإنترنت السلكي مجانا وتلفزيون إل سي دي ومطبخ صغير. Amazingly close to the port, easy to find, staff is kind and helpful, cozy vibes and charming.

Situated in Shimajiri and within 1.2 km of Furuzamami Beach, Zamamia International Guesthouse has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. What a cool little place. Clean, tidy, lovely staff. It is a welcoming place where you can feel at home. The facilities are good and it was clean and tidy. There seemed to be options to work for free accommodation But I don’t know what the terms for this are as I didn’t opt for it. The burgers and pizzas looked amazing too and I was really sad not to be able to try them while I was there (they closed the restaurant for a few days). Good AC in the rooms. Lots of space for drying stuff after you’ve been to the beach!

The property was well located, a close few minute walk to the port, impeccably clean, and very reasonably priced. It was the owners that made it very special, they conducted fantastic tours and trips of all kinds. I did a snorkeling tour, which was Exceptional, better than snorkeling Hawaii. They really know this island, and work hard to make sure every guest has a peek, enjoyable experience. I loved Zamami Island, it was super easy to get around, and very chill. Fantastic experience, and this guesthouse has my highest recommendation.
