Located in the tosacanian countryside, this resort is really all that is promises. Beautiful views, luxurious design, great comfort. Breakfast can be served outside. Dinners are posh and need a reservation. The pool has a magnificent view, though the water is a bit too cold. Staff was great, very helpful and nice.

The manager/host Marc Antonio, with a top kindness, was before 7 a.m. for breakfast and after 10 pm at the pool, tirelessly. The terrace where you can have dinner has a magnificent view. Just a few km to San Gimignano, an impressive town in your way to Pisa, Firenze, Luca, Cinque Terre, Sienna and so on.

Nice location on a hill outside Siena. Pretty view. Nice pool area, which we did not utilize much due to the weather. Love the staff. Margherita was there to assist with our every need. They were all great. Plus, they had a really extensive wine collection. What really surprised me, and I don't know why, was that this place had a top notch chef. The dinners each night varied and one had several delicious options from which to choose. They have a nightly tasting menu for a minimum of two people that looked very interesting. We did not choose that option during our stay. I am sure we missed out.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel and the views at dinner, or breakfast or by the pool are amazing. We had 2 nights here before our wedding and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Tuscan sunshine. Food was delicious and the staff were lovely.

Quiet, off the beaten track, great hosts, felt like home. The place is a bit tricky to initially get to, but is most definitely worth it. Very calm, relaxing environment with great hosts. Amazing roaming countryside to see around the area by foot or car. Will definitely be stopping again here when back in the region. Also, Breakfast was great, with eggs made individually which was lovely

Fabulous small hotel in the centre of Colle Val D’Elsa. Our room was gorgeous, spotlessly clean and had a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside. The owner, Pietro, was simply wonderful, and made us so welcome, even making us coffee and tea upon check in and booking a fantastic restaurant (ask him where to find the best steak). Breakfast was amazing, especially the scrambled eggs and salami, be sure to order that.

The hotel is located at the beginning/on top of the old town of Colle di val d’Elsa - a great spot to start your evening walk. this property is just gorgeous! the grounds are even prettier in person, and the farmhouse has been restored in such a lovely way. the staff make it even better - they are all SO kind and welcoming. we spent our mornings exploring the area by car (I do think you’d need a car to stay here as it is somewhat remote) and then relaxing by the stunning pool in the afternoon. we had dinner here each night and each dish was delicious (loved the truffle pasta!). we hope to be back again someday.

We arrived at an amazing, quiet place with a stunning view. Virginia welcomed us with glasses of wine in the view of San Gimignano and the olive groves. The room was stunning (better than the pictures), cozy, and clean. Hotel area is amazing, you can hang out in the hammock among the trees and enjoy the peace. The pool was too cold for me, but its area is lovely, clean, and stunning. We had a great breakfast. This is definitely a place we'll go back to, and we'll recommend it to everyone.

absolutely stunning place to stay. We were there for a wedding and then stayed for a few days longer. The venue and staff were incredible especially the setting for the wedding but they couldn’t do enough for you and so friendly. Great location to explore the nearby towns and the food in the restaurant was amazing. Would come back in a heartbeat, thank you for an amazing few days.

Il Poggio is heavenly. The houses are beautifully scattered across the huge property, each with a space outside to enjoy the stunning nature. The owners are kind, friendly and so thoughtful. The four of us (we have 2 girls) loved spending days there without the need to leave elsewhere at all. We played basketball, bocce, tennis, used the swimming pool every single day. The highlight was the view from the window, all the vinyards & the sunsets. Our girls asked if we could live there forever. It was the most relaxing, soul-enriching holiday. The owners welcomed us with wine, coffee, pasta. What a nice touch that we did not have to look for food after arriving. The coffee moka meant so much to a big coffee drinker like me. We saw beautiful nearby Tuscan towns & found brilliant local restaurants nearby & also had a beautiful dinner at il Poggio one evening. Bruna, the kindest, friendliest local dog, made my daughters’ stay unforgettable. We are definitely coming back.

Gigi,Riccardo, and every single member of the staff did such an amazing job in preparation and making our stay there welcome.
