We had such good experiences here especially with the modest but fantastic little local restaurant just a short walk away. The village is charming and so quiet and peaceful. We would cerainly return here is given the opportunity, it was very special.

The rooms are very clean and exceptionally big, especially when comparing to other houses in the region. I personally liked the spacious showers in particular. But what makes the real difference is the hosts, they make you feel very welcome, give you tips and support when needed… and offer a very generous and delicious breakfast buffet, the best I ever had in Italy.

Although parking was in a public open air square this was just a few metres from the apartment. Very secure and central in the old town of Nizza Monferrato. It's a very quiet hotel with plenty of place inside. A very pleasant walk takes you to the city center in 15 minutes. Surroundings are wide enough to walk, see the forest and discover small places every day. Matilde, at the front desk, was very helpful and handsome. All the staff was very nice. We'll stay again in the near future.

We always receive a warm welcome and this visit was no exception. We travel between the UK and our villa in Lucca, Tuscany regularly and really look forward to breaking our journey at Monvillone. The location is in the countryside and it is a lovely relaxing place to overnight. Add to that the fact that the cuisine is exceptional - Riccardo is an amazing chef and the wine is very much to our taste. The room is spacious and has a large balcony overlooking the countryside. The bed is large and comfortable and we always wake feeling refreshed and ready to resume our journey. The breakfast offers plenty of choice including croissants, home baked cake, fruits grown locally and yoghurts. Very much looking forward to our next visit in July.
