The Excelsior is located in the city centre of La Maddalena Island, a 2-minute walk from the ferries to/from Palau. There is free public parking in front of the hotel. Marialuisa at reception was lovely and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and perfectly located with a view across the port

It was clean, comfortable, the breakfast was great and the staff are brilliant. Our room was new so clean and tidy during our stay. There is free parking just a two mins walk from the hotel. The hotel is approximately a 20 min walk from the main area, but this is split between walking along the sea and the town. A perfect length stroll after dinner in town. You can a ski hire beach towels and umbrellas for the beach.

Set on a secluded beach on the island of Maddalena, Hotel Nido D'aquila features views of Sardinia across the bay. It offers air-conditioned rooms and studios. This hotel has an outstanding location, just metres from the sea. The staff are really helpful and were able to recommend kid-friendly beaches across the islands. If you want, zodiac/gommone rental is available just opposite the hotel. There are fun dining options a short drive away (car recommended, although the local bus stops outside) and the incredible Punta Tegge beach with its Zi Antò bar is a short walk away. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and could be had indoors or outdoors. The room was split-level with a double bed downstairs and stairs up to a single bedroom. Everything was comfortable and clean. We'd love to stay again.

Set in the Maddalena National Park, just 300 metres from the sea, Le Nereidi features 2 tennis courts, an indoor pool with hydromassage jets, and a sun terrace. I had a long stay but it allowed me to meet La Maddalena. The conditions found at the Hotel were totally satisfactory. Friendly staff, breakfast served on request but with a lot of patience by the staff, safe sanitation, daily cleaning. The hotel is a bit far from the pedestrian center but a good thing after a hearty dinner to walk back to the hotel

Hotel Delle Isole is surrounded by myrtle and wild olive trees, 100 metres from the historical centre and the harbour in La Maddalena Island. It offers large rooms, free parking, and free internet. Close to harbor. Easy walk. Parking free. Sweet staff. Good breakfast. You can rent an umbrella for the beach. Great value.

Located right on the south coast of La Maddalena Island, Hotel Miralonga is 2 km from the centre of La Maddalena. It features an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Super stay at Miralonga Best breakfast of our 3 week journey around Sardinia! The staff was very helpful with recommendations for beaches and restaurants. Comfortable room with a nice table on the terrace overlooking the harbor.

Il Gabbiano was the first hotel on the island of La Maddalena, built in 1955. It offers beautiful views of the crystal clear sea and the islands of Caprera, Santo Stefano and Spargi. The room was smallish but quiet and overlooking the sea. Exactly like in the pictures! The staff is extremely helpful and approachable. The breakfasts were varied, there was no problem with additional coffee or bread, extremely friendly service. The town is charming with beautiful streets and very good restaurants. Recommendable place, fantastic value for money!

Hotel Villa Marina, is set in a renewed, ancient villa located in the heart of La Maddalena residential area, at short distance from Admiralty Square and the shopping centre. WiFi is free throughout. We have stayed at this hotel during every visit to La Maddalena since we were children (we are now in our 30s/40s)...since before there was online booking. This is our preferred hotel at the island and will only stay here. We always enjoy the breakfast and the location is perfect. Grazie Rita to you and your staff for your warm hospitality, as always!
