No words can justify Sextantio Albergo Diffuso, it just has to be experienced. The hotel is spread across the medieval village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio. Our suite was restored perfectly to reflect the original time period but with all modern facilities. Also the faabrics used and the soap were made with old techniques. And it was all wonderful. Reception, bar and restaurant were also located in different buildings. The food in the restaurant was mostly local and excellent and the staff was very professional and nice. In addition to the hotel, Santo Stefano di Sessanio and its surrondings are really worth a visit.

The hotel was quite nice. It's away from the nite noise of the main part of town but just a short walk. The restaurant was great, though we only got pizza and calzone but every table had something I wanted. That said, the pizza was amazing. You asked about the bed above. I have a bad back so it's hard to tell, but it didn't hurt so that is a plus. I liked the height, seemed a bit lower than average and I kinda liked that.

I had a situation with my (first) room that it was next to the room with a guest who was obviously unwell - loud coughing and sneezeng, etc. Practically, I could not sleep normaly in the room. I asked for room change and the staff proceeded it smoothly. Thanks again! Rooms we good, clean with nice view on Apennine Mountains. Breakfast is typically Italian, with a lot of croisants. I am not personally amazed by this, but it was OK and I noticed that other guests were happy. Again, the staff in the hotel restaurant was attentive.
