Just 50 metres from Porto Ercole, Hotel Conchiglia is on the Argentario peninsula. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout and traditionally furnished rooms with LCD TVs and private bathrooms. Super friendly and helpful staff and cosy location. Easy to park nearby, close to the marina, and to get around the the island by car. Breakfast was delicious, and our stay was all in all good value for money. Would like to have stayed longer!

Set on a cliff top in Porto Ercole, on the Monte Argentario Peninsula, the luxurious Il Pellicano offers a free private rocky beach, a swimming pool and a Michelin-starred restaurant. Loved every single detail about the property. The reason I gave 4/5 for location is because the hotel is located in a very remote and secluded area, which is the whole idea about relaxation. If you want to have any activity outside the hotel there is no taxi, Uber, bus, shuttle, public transportation,…. You MUST have a car or you need to pay a very high fee to have a private transfer by the hotel.

Family run. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Restaurant menu excellent and good selection at breakfast. Comfortable bed and plenty of areas around pool to relax in. Loved the hammocks and swings. Recommend visit to the botanic dry gardens nearby.
