The Inn had recently been renovated and was beautiful inside and out. All new carpets, wall decor, doors, bathrooms, every attention to detail was made. Michael, the bar/inn manager was so friendly and welcoming. He helped us decide on food for dinner and was very warm. Inn was perfectly located in town, easy walk to shops, coffee, and both the Abbey and Castle, which we were excited to see.

With a beautiful, peaceful location and stunning lake views over Lough Ree, this 4-star hotel offers total relaxation, with good food, great wine, spa treatments and luxurious air-conditioned rooms. Relaxed, friendly staff, best steak I ever had. Great night away

Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... The rooms looked just like in the pictures, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were nice and clean - only the stone plate on the sink was not good levelled, so the water was always running down on the right-hand side, when washing hands. And a handheld shower would have been nicer than a stationary one. But that really were only minor issues. The rooms had a view over the gardens, which was very nice and quiet. The hotel, the entrance, the breakfast room and the bar were really nice and we really felt comfortable. We can understand, why this hotel is a good venue for wedding celebrations. The hotel even has lifts, so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs (not something every hotel has in Ireland) and a vending machine for mineral water and other things. And last but not least the staff was really friendly, helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would choose the hotel again when we were in the area.

Set within calm surroundings of lawns and gardens close to Roscommon Town Centre, this charming 18th-century manor house has a leisure centre, award-winning restaurant and free parking. Breakfast very poor quality and cold should be cooked freshly not cooked hours before and left in Bain Maire 4star hotel not cheap so breakfast really left this hotel down

A special mention to Nicole in conference & events who is an absolute asset to the team & has made all my booking a breeze to organise. This 4-star hotel has a Championship golf course and is 5 miles from Athlone. All newly reformed rooms at the Glasson Lakehouse have free Wi-Fi, TVs and a room service menu. The style, design, and comfortable resort is first rate. We loved the different areas to relax or explore: beautiful golf course, outdoor living room styled bar, cute pub, plus gorgeous countryside walks.

Hotel Blu, Athlone se nahaja ob obali reke Shannon in nudi pogled na zgodovinski grad Athlone. Hotel nudi sodoben klub za prosti čas in elegantno restavracijo. After a lot of days of walking in the rain it was nice to be in a cozy hotel steps away from the city sites. And a nice pool, steamroom and sauna to relax and feel warm Ease of check-in despite a lot of people checking in at the same time. Staff was very helpful and calm.

Situated on the verge of Roscommon Town, this family-run hotel offers spacious, quality accommodation, free high-speed Wi-Fi and first class food. Great property, as we were to leave for airport the next day the location was great. The staff were great, arrived early and they had a room ready. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Had several items to choose from on the menu
