Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. Vanessa greeted us for breakfast, she was friendly and took the extra time to answer our questions regarding the property. We were visiting from New York, the property is beautiful, rooms well appointed and the staff very, very pleasant. Thank you to all. Jean D.

With an 18-hole championship golf course, a 20-metre pool and a luxurious spa, Slieve Russell Hotel is set within 300 acres of grounds. Beautiful hotel. Our room was one of the nicest I stayed in in Ireland. Very plush.

Situated in Cavan, within 17 km of Maudabawn Cultural Centre and 25 km of Monastery of Kells, The Bailie features accommodation with a bar and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. On first impression you would think a 2 star would be sub standard parts of it is just the decor & well worn setting in the front bar however the rooms are of a 4 star quality ( brand new refurbished) there is alot to aesthetically but the welcome we recieved was second to none nothing was a problem . The beds are super comfortable along with an excellent shower & complimentary toiletries/ tea coffee . The food was great value for money and the burgers delicious, staff although all young had excellent customer service skills . We had to leave early and the chef came in 1hr earlier to ensure we had a breakfast, and gave us fresh fruit salad and homemade scones to go . Thanks to Pat for opening up the dining room earlier . We will definitely return .

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than 5 minutes' drive from the town centre. It was clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly!

Breakfast was basic eggs sausages etc but it was very nicely laid out. As a Muslim I could only have the eggs and toast. Everything was amazing..

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. Our server at breakfast, Mary, was absolutely charming and nothing was too much trouble for her. She made the trip even more memorable. The walks were spectacular and the grounds were just too beautiful. Worth every penny!

Situated in the centre of Cavan town on the main street, The Farnham Arms Hotel features a bar and restaurant. The staff of the Farnham Arms Hotel is always the friendliest and most accommodating! I love the breakfast and the fact that the hotel is in the heart of Cavan. Easy to park behind and get around the town.

Situated in Arvagh, 21 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre, Breffni Arms Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Wonderful hotel and amazing family running the establishment and they could not to do more for us. Amazing breakfast included and we ate dinner there both nights because the food and people were so wonderful!! So helpful for suggestions on local attractions and transportation. This is a must stay!
