This was our first stop after flying over from Canada, so it was a great spot to recover from the jetlag. The restaurant was good and the location was convenient for going to check out the town and to get to the bus stop.

In beautiful, peaceful grounds, between Edinburgh and Glasgow, this 4-star hotel is rich in historic charm, with a restaurant, a bar and great leisure facilities, including an 18-metre swimming pool. Just beautiful, full of history. lovely service & amenities!

The Mercure Livingston is a 15-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport and 2 miles from junction 3 of the M8 motorway. It has a brasserie, a restaurant, and free parking. Just 15min outside of Edinburgh. Felt safe and clean.

In the centre of Livingston, Livingston Lodge Hotel has hotel rooms with a private shower room and free WiFi access. It also has free parking. Good location if one wants to visit Edinburgh and Glasgow, and wants to have an affordable accommodation. The train station is just 10 min walking distance and it takes additional 20 min by train to reach the city. The public pub serves good pub food and there is a grocery shop and lovely sandwich/pastry shop nearby (you have to grab their bacon roll for breakfast).
