Situated within 24 km of St Andrews University and 28 km of St Andrews Bay, The Clarendon provides rooms in Dundee. This 4-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. Room was very spacious and well decorated. Kenny, our host, Kenny, was over the top nice and accommodating allowing us to come in a back entrance from the parking area due to an injury my wife suffered while we out walking one day. The room also had a wonderful Dundee cake and coffee in the room for our first breakfast.

Situated in Dunkeld, Tay House is a self catering establishment with views of the River Tay. Tay House has a terrace at the back of the building with river views. Very warm welcome, friendly staff. Great parking right across the street. Room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and the self-service breakfast was the perfect option for me. I already recommended Tay House to some friends. Thank you!

The hotel has been "modernized" within the past few years. But things like detached (but private) bathrooms still exist. The antique furnishings in the lobby and common areas are exceptional.

The Merryburn - Rooms and Courtyard Studios is a few minutes' walk from Dunkeld and Birnam Railway Station at the gateway to the Highlands and is a listed Victorian building. I had an amazing stay during my solo trip! The staff is extremely lovely and friendly, always willing to help and give you directions and advice for the area and local shops. Only 15 minutes walk from the restaurants/pubs of Dunkeld, and only 1 hour drive to Glenshee Ski Centre. I'll definitely be back!! Thank you again for the lovely stay 😊
