Situated in Portpatrick, on a seafront location,The Harbour House Sea front Hotel has a beer garden, coffee and cocktail lounge, and free WiFi in all rooms. The Harbour House was absolutely perfect. After a long day of travel, and not ideal weather upon arrival, this place became our sanctuary. The accommodation exceeded our exception with wonderful view, kitchenette, large bathroom/shower and it was warm and cozy. We ate in the hotel as well, which was an amazing dinner. AND breakfast included in the morning.

Situated in town centre of Stranraer, The Royal Hotel features a beer garden and bar. Stranraer train station is a 10-minute walk away and the Stena and P&O ports are located nearby. This hotel was excellent. The guy who checked us in made everything so chill, quick and easy. The hotel room was lovely. There was no hassle with leaving early either. And the tea and biscuits were greatly appreciated. Will definitely be i this hotel to any friends and family who will be in the area to catch the boat.

The staff is wonderfully accommodating, the room was very comfortable, the location couldn’t be better, and the food was excellent.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel offers accommodation in Kirkcolm, 14 km from Stranraer. Free private parking is available on site. Every room has a flat-screen TV. We picked this establishment because it was the only one that had rooms for those of us that are disabled (first floor). The inn is remote but is in a beautiful setting. We stayed in a slightly remote house which we really loved. Large windows in the living area looking over the rocky seashore made for a serene morning coffee scene. We also really enjoyed the 5 course meal served in the restaurant in the lighthouse.

Fernhill Hotel ligger i sin egen hage over Portpatrick, og kan skilte med utsikt over landsbyen, havnen og Irskesjøen. We loved everything about it. The toilet was noisy for a long time after flushing but everything else was lovely. The gardens, the walks out the front door, the quietness, the stunning views from our patio. We loved the walk up by the golf course and if we had another day would have explored those hikes more. The staff was veryfriendly and professional. It was a real treat to end our 2 week journey to Northern Ireland. We didn't want to drive home after taking the ferry so we stayed here instead. We were pleasantly surprised with the fabulous hotel and views. The array of Scotch whiskeys in the bar was a great idea and we partook in a few of those for after dinner. The Hendricks gin was also very good. It's just a very classy place.

Blue Peter hotel is situated in Stranraer. Among the various facilities are a garden, a terrace, as well as a bar. The accommodation provides free WiFi. Excellent location. Super quiet if your after a great night's sleep.The Host is spot on. Polite and accommodating. Great place.

Featuring its own curling ice rink and an indoor pool, North West Castle Hotel is located opposite Stranraer harbour, which serves as the main ferry port between Scotland and Ireland. Left at 6.15 am. We had a very short but pleasant stay.
