Had an issue with my car on the Sunday and the staff could not have been more helpful. Also remembered my drink order at the bar, which while a small thing is a nice touch.

Located within 15 km of University of Edinburgh and 15 km of EICC in Roslin, Roslin Glamping provides accommodation with seating area. If you consider booking, go for it! This place is calming, clean , cozy and the hosts are super friendly. There are some nice walks and hikes in the area. Can’t recommend it enough!

Secret hideaway. Loved the rural atmosphere with horses in the field behind and the lovely little pond in front. The space was clean, comfortable and hi tech. Loved the hot tub that was ready to enjoy when we arrived. It was a quiet peaceful night of sleep.

Excellent, immaculate, and flawless. I travel a lot and have something to compare with. Charming hostess. Lovely, spotlessly clean rooms, very comfortable beds. Simply the best guest house I have ever visited. Highly recommend and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful service.

Set 1.1 km from Butterfly & Insect World, Glenarch House is in Dalkeith and features a garden and a terrace. The accommodation is 2.1 km from the Dalkeith Country Park. We had the best Indian food at Bombay Lounge. We went to a local pub and although it was packed we didn’t enjoy the food all all. 1/2 price breakfast at Morrison’s grocery. We only did 2 nights, but would have stayed longer.

Located in Borthwick and only 19 km from University of Edinburgh, Borthwick Farm Cottage Pottery provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location was brilliant as we were going to a wedding at the castle. The pottery was so cosy and ticked all the boxes, both of the owners were so welcoming and attentive. We even got lucky with the chickens and had fresh eggs! We will definitely be returning. 5*****
