This small, family-run hotel has free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is in the centre of Castletown, close to Thurso and Wick and only minutes from the Castle of Mey. Absolutely recommend this place! One of my best NC500 Nights. The restaurant is amazing, the best food ever and the staff is so so friendly. I never expected this, i will return there because of the restaurant and the great atmosphere, the rooms are very nice and comfy big size. On the side is a small bar where you can have a few drinks after dinner, really nice stay there.

The nature around is beautiful. The whole building is beautiful and the interior was amazing. We felt like we were in a whole different world. Plus we got upgraded for free as we arrived. Next time in Thurso we will be staying here again. 🧡

Fantastic location to explore Caithness and onwards to Orkney. I have stayed in all the local hotels over many years but from now on this little gem will be our destination if available.

After a couple of days of camping along the NC500 with my friends, a well needed break from the outdoors was welcomed. We booked Caithness Luxury Apartment in Wick and it was perfect! It felt like home away from home. Our host Sam was available and responsive to any questions we had. Definitely highly recommended when in the area and I would stay here again!

Our room was very neat and clean. The local hotel with a restaurant was next door and the ferry was a short walk away.

Fantastic location right in the middle of Wick. The property was easy to find and we were easily parked close by. The property was spacious and we enjoyed having the amenities of a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment during our stay in Wick. We loved having the balcony to spend our summer evenings after returning from a day of exploring.

We loved our stay at Pentland! The staff was incredibly nice & helpful throughout our stay. The food (both dinner & the included breakfast) were wonderful! We brought 2 dogs with us (one small, one large) & they were treated wonderfully & were very comfortable at the hotel. For the price, you can't beat it!
