Located in Megève, 800 metres from Megeve Ski School, Grand Hotel Soleil d'Or provides accommodation with a bar, private parking and a terrace. Exceptional hotel. When luxury meets cosiness. Nothing was not to like really. The staff was so kind and helpful, the decoration is gorgeous and in the mountain spirit and the rooms are big enough for families.

Set in a gorgeous location in a small town away from the touristy villages of the Alps. The views are to die for and the grounds and hotel are immaculate. There is a lovely restaurant that serves delicious food at reasonable prices and includes some local specialities. The grounds are so well maintained and there are e-bikes for hire and a spa as well. But what sets this gem apart are the amazing people who work here. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and made me, a solo traveller feel like an honoured guest. I cannot recommend enough! Thank you for a wonderful if not far to short stay.

La Ferme de Cupelin is located on the "heights of Saint Gervais les Bains" at 5 min drive from the ski resort. Second time here, amazing little hotel, very much attention to detail making you feel home. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Location is perfect to discover the area, going to skiing and also trekking in spring. The indoor pool is amazing for apres-ski. Lot of nice restaurants nearby and also the cozy St.Gervais des Bains The hotel restaurant is also excellent (we tried it during our previous staying). Overall totally recommended! :)

The location is impossible to beat: you're in front of the 2 main gondolas in Megeve, it's about 15 min by car from Megeve town, ~1h from Chamonix, and ~2.5h from Verbier.
