The breakfast was exceptional for Finland - hot and cold meats incl smoked reindeer, smoked salmon, and lots of egg dishes, breads, cakes, fresh food (salad/berries/) then berries, various drinks etc. So good. Location was great - on the edge of a small town and easy to access routes out too. On a beautiful lake. And has an amazing sauna you can privately book.

Great excursions (ice fishing, raindeer sleigh ride, snowmobile), all well organized and even when one bus was too cold they immediately organized a car to pick us up! Excellent food and very friendly staff!

Pyhä Nallentupa is a recently renovated chalet in Kemijärvi, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The air-conditioned accommodation is 24 km from Amethyst Mine. We had a magical family Xmas at the cabin. The owner was super responsive and clear with instructions, the cabin had everything and more. Very spacious, clean and cosy and well equipped. We are a family of 5 and didn't lack anything and fitted very comfortably. Brilliant location - 6 min drive to Pyha ski resort, local restaurants and a mini Market. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful quiet woods and although they are cabins nearby it felt very secluded and private. Loved the smoke House too, great fun. Some fantastic public paths into the woods - those more able can walk all the way to the ski resort, we didnt quite make it with young kids in the snow but enjoyed a stroll in the enchanted snow covered forest. Would absolutely love to come again!

Karhujärven Kelopirtit is located right next to Lake Hietajärvi, and offers lake views and accommodation in a traditional Finnish log cabin. Everything was just great. Nice and clean rooms, equiped kitchen, sauna and nice view on lake. I realy enjoied that stay. Not expensive.

This cottage is an absolute gem. I loved everything about it - it is incredibly cozy and clean with all that you may need for a comfortable stay, has stunnning views of the lake, and it is just so serene amidst all the beautiful nature. Staying here felt like rubbing lotion on cracked skin, revitilazing and blissful. I felt connected to the nature and peace of mind I've not felt in a long time. Milla the host and her dad ( I think that was the gentleman I met ) were so lovely, friendly and helpfull and even sorted out a late check out for me as my train wasn't till the evening hours. My stay in this cabin was the best part of my trip to Finland 💙🤍
