Second time staying in ruka ski chalets, they’re spacious, modern, clean, great location, ample storage, well equipped, washing machine, dishwasher, drying cupboard, very secure, inside ski lockers (unfortunately no sauna in this property). Good communication prior to stay, easy to collect the key from key safe. There were 4 of us in the apartment so we used the sofa bed, it was comfortable but we did have to rearrange furniture to pull the bed out.

Beautiful hotel right by the lake. Great views from the restaurant/breakfast room. Nice fireplace that gives a great ambiance to the room. Electric Sauna was good too. The rooms are equipped with an electrical clothes dryer which is very thoughtful and was already useful in the fall, so I can only imagine how useful it will be in winter! The location is great as well, just a short walk from Ruka village.

The location is perfect as it is in the Ruka village itself close to all amenities, shops and restaurants. The apartment was spacious and clean, a balcony with a view of the ski and the village plus a sauna inside the bathroom which was really nice extra. It was warm and cosy inside the apartment, our family had an overall comfortable stay. And it’s very good value for money as well. Would recommend!

Nice Hotel on the center of Ruka village. Easy to access from the bus drop point. Staff was very welcoming and the broad availability to check-in is really convenient (up to 4am). The restaurant can provide meal until 1.30am but we went somewhere else as it was not that late. Buffet breakfast had all you can expect in a Finnish style (+1 for the oat yogurt).

We were doing Karhunkierros trail, we finished a day before planned so we have not a booked room in Ruka and the other hotel we had for the next night could not offer us a solution. The Scandic Rukahivi staff were extremely nice, the room was great and the breakfast was amazing. If we come back to Ruka, it will be here.

Location is perfect for skiing in Ruka. The cabin is so cozy, but extremely spacious! We found the beds are extremely comfortable. The loft upstairs is really fun for children. The place was clean upon arrival and there are some basic cooking supplies available. The wood fireplace was very enjoyable after a ski day.

Great location. Right by bear trail route, easy walk to Ruka village for shopping and swimming. K market supermarket on site shut in summer so remember to get groceries first! Brilliant facilities. Laundry on site (free). Clean, very well equipped apartment. Best ski apartment I’ve ever stayed in!

Clean modern and spacious room with sauna. Very quiet hotel. Great food at the Camper restaurant and friendly personnel. Online check in is very convenient. We got our room prior to check in time without any difficulty. Perfect for ski-inn/ski-out. Just by the gondola to reach Ruka Village.

Easily accessible from the main road (also in winter). Modern apartment, clean, nicely situated close to Ruka skiing area. Perfect! If you stay with 6 persons (maximum number of persons allowed there) it may be pretty cozy. I stayed there with my two kids and we had plenty of room.

Cozy hotel with a stunning view of Rukatunturi! The restaurant has a very interesting menu and delicious food. Our room was big and comfortable and had an amazing view from the window! The sauna is really good too. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Everything was great!

Located quite near Rukatunturi at a very accessible place. The apartment was clean and tidy and check in was really smooth. Apartment has all kinds of amenities available and sauna was nice too. Kitchen has a good amount of tools and utensils available to cook.

Apartment is right in Ruka center next to front slopes. It was very clean and everything was there what we needed. Parking could have been an issue. But we were lucky to get free place when we arrived and then we didn't have to move the car for 2 days 😊

Fantastic apartment in a four-apartment cottage, equipped with everything you might need for an enjoyable stay in the Finnish winter wonderland. Close to a skibus stop, 10 minutes on foot from a supermarket and a 30 minute walk away from the Ruka centre.

Location excellent, very close to the slopes and ski lift (abt 150m). The apartment was clean and kitchen had a lot of equipment. The sofa bed was good. Close to Ruka Village, about 5 min walk. There was an electric pole for heating the car.

Apartment is right in Ruka center. The apartment was well equipped and clean. The bunk bed in one bedroom was bit noisy. But, we had very good stay. We also got a call in advance from reception and got good instructions about keys etc.

Clean and relatively spatious apartment for four people. Well equipped kitchen and a nice, although basic, sauna. The apartment is conveniently located right just a stone throw away from the Ruka village, the main hub at the Ruka fell.

It was a cheap option to start karhunkierros trail (there is a bus from Ruka to Hautajarvi). The apartment was good enough: hot shower, confortable beds, a tiny kitchen... And everything pretty clean.

Kitchen is fully equipped. Apartment is clean, beautiful and comfortable. Location is not too distant from Ruka village. There is a garage to park the vehicle. There is a nice view outside.

The apartment is perfectly placed near Ruka ski centre. It's a great pleasure to stay in this magical place. I highly recommend it.
