The design makes you think of Tales from the Arabian Nights - especially if you will be lucky enough to stay there during full moon. The decor is unique for each room which makes the experience one of a kind. What is important is that the way it is built does not allow the rooms to warm up. They are naturally cool which is a blessing in the scorching heat. Get a refreshing dip in the pool and don't forget to dine at the adjacent restaurant. The food is exquisite and based on really good recipes, mostly from the Middle East. As Djorff is set on the west bank, you are not far from Luxor (thanks to the boat which will carry you over the Nile) but far enough to let you escape the city noise. Staff are lovely na do their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. And then there is Marina - the charismatic owner who has all the answers about your stay in Luxor. Marina will help you organise your day, get you a driver and - if she has some time and you're willing to listen - she will share one or two remarkable stories from her life. Staying there made me feel somehwat as if I was part of a 1940s-1950s novel or movie. I extended my stay and I am very happy I did so. People sometimes say they are coming back out of politeness but I AM definitely coming back!

The BEST hotel manager you can ever meet! Hassan is an incredible person who genuinely cares about his guests and tries to make them happy in every possible way. This is a kind of place where you artive as a guest and leave as a friend. Hassan's commitment to his guests is truly inspiring. He is always available for any questions and advice, and yet is always diplomatic and soft-spoken. Hassan also has a great sense of humour and talking with him is always a delight, in addition - his English language skills are fantastic. The hotel is located near the ferry dock and sees quite a bit of traffic - you are going to experience a real part of Luxor. It is a great place to stay for independent travellers who are looking for an authentic experience without tourist crowds. The rooms are basic, but super clean and very spacious, the linen and towels are all clean and fresh; the beds, pillows and blankets are very comfortable as well. You also have a very kind employee Mohammed to look after you - he is always helpful, attentive, and does a great job keeping everything clean and safe. The price for this place is also excellent. The hotel has a large rooftop terrace for sweeping views over the Nile. This is also where a lunch bufet is available frim 11a.m. to 3 p.m. We tried the food there, and were also very happy with the selection, price, and attitude. Yes, we were VERY happy with this hotel team, and could HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to those travellers who appreciate a genuine local hospitality!

Rose Guest House se encuentra en Luxor, a menos de 1 km de Medinet Habu Temple, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. El lugar es mágico desde que llegas, quedas a un lado de unas ruinas preciosas y aunque no estás en el centro de la ciudad, se agradece encontrar paz en este país por un momento. El dueño ha sido muy amable y paciente con nosotros, la comida deliciosa y nos ayudó a tomar decisiones sobre qué hacer para aprovechar nuestro tiempo. Por la mañana nos despertó el sonido de los globos que podíamos ver con solo asomarnos por la ventana.

El personal súper amable, me enseñaron a pescar, me dieron una vuelta en el bote y se ubica en la orilla de un canal del Nilo por lo qué hay muchas aves, la habitación estaba recién remodelada y muy limpia, Yoda súper atento igual que los demás chicos del Staff

Estaba limpio, el personal muy atento . Sin duda lo recomiendo. Nos ayudaron con todas las dudas y nos ayudaron a resolver situaciones de traslados . Además el desayuno muy bueno

El Nour El Balad se ubica junto al templo de Medinet Habou, en Luxor. Ofrece conexión WiFi. It’s like visiting a family, warm welcome, relaxed vibe and extremely helpful owners. We received all the possible help and felt cared about. It also felt like being an explorer staying in a very authentic Egyptian house. The room was very specious and the home made breakfast was lovely. The owner is a heartwarming person who has a wide network and is able to organize everything in Luxor (taxi, hot air ballon, and I’m sure the list doesn’t end here). It’s also very important to highlight that the location is very quiet, we managed to get a rest from noisy Egyptian streets and slept like newborns. Strongly recommend!

El Al Baeirat Hotel está rodeado de jardines paisajistas y se encuentra a orillas del Nilo. Cuenta con piscina, galería comercial y recepción 24 horas con servicio de planchado. Excepcional, lugar muy bonito y cómodos . El personal es extraordinario muy amable. Sin duda regresaría .

El Al Moudira Hotel se encuentra en la entrada de Luxor y es el único palacio situado en la orilla oeste del río Nilo. Presenta una decoración de estilo oriental, con cúpulas y patios con arabescos. Wow wow wow! Esto sí que es sentirte un rey. El mejor hotel que me he quedado en mi vida hasta el momento en cuanto al detalle y al buen gusto de todo. Elegante, y para pasarse unos días de relax inolvidables.
