Sandy is really amazing. She started off with a very warm welcome. Very friendly. She was very helpful during our stay. She went above and beyond to make the guests feel welcomed and comfortable. This family-run, 4-star hotel is located close to Schmallenberg in the Rothaargebirge nature park. It offers elegant rooms, an indoor swimming pool and a large breakfast buffet. I booked late and arrived late after a 14km hike! The kitchen was already closed, but they still made me a light meal! Ibwas only there for one night, but everything looked so good and the people were very helpful! The breakfast was very good, but as i've been to many hotels, the breakfast was standard for that kind of pricerange, so that's still excelent but not different. It might be because i chose the stirred eggs and bacon with herbs mixed in(so not very local). The outside was very nice and clean! Eventough they(landscapers) were working outside my window i only noticed when i opened the windows. So even for a short stay this was worth the max amount of stars!
