Este hotel tradicional de gestión familiar está situado junto al ayuntamiento, el Rathaus, en el centro histórico de Heppenheim. Breakfast was fantastic with a choice of eggs, fresh bread, lots of cold cuts and muesli and additional things. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was a tiny bit small but not a big deal for me. There was a bit of a stain on the carpet but everything else was updated and nice. Fair warning, no elevators so lots of stairs to carry suitcases up. Neighborhood was so quaint and walking around was a highlight. There was parking behind the hotel which was convenient, though getting to the hotel was a bit difficult as some of the small roads were blocked off.

This is a lovely hotel that has the warm feeling of a family-run business, and is situated in a beautiful area. The rooms are somewhat basic (no fridge, no coffee corner) but are very comfortable and clean, and all had balconies with a magnificent view of the black forest. We had an amazing dinner in the hotel as well, where the dining room also overlooks that same beautiful scenery. Breakfast was included, and also was incredibly plentiful and tasty. Staff were helpful as we are English speakers and the menus were only in German. There are also many well-marked walking trails of varying lengths starting right from the hotel, we did two of them and really enjoyed ourselves. We definitely recommend a stop here, or even just a meal if you are passing through.
