The jacuzzi on the rooftop at the bar are a major plus. Nice way to enjoy Mindelo weather in a relaxing way.

Let me start by saying it has a great location at the Marina, with modern facilities. Everything is within walking distance. The ferry is across the street if you want to visit Santo Antao. If you want to go to Baia, Santo Pedro, or Cahau, you can rent a car for a day or take a taxi—there are many ways to get around. You feel safe here, and security is 24/7. Front desk: Very welcoming. Lauren was very professional and very helpful. Thank you, Lauren, for accommodating us. The room had a great view—Liz Melicilo was exceptional. She was very professional, friendly, courteous, and helpful. I can't forget the one who did my checkout—thank you! Rooms: The room was lovely, comfortable, and very clean. Its interior design is thoughtful, beautiful, and cozy. It was very spacious for us and had stunning views. Valina( from Spia) was pleasant and kept our room spotless. We had a problem with the air conditioner, but it was immediately fixed. Suggestion: A coffee maker/tea condiments in the room. Breakfast: A full continental breakfast buffet style (cachupa, scramble, fried, and boiled eggs, bread/toast, cereals, fruits, ham, cheese, yogurt, etc.).The team (Suzi, Leila, Raquel, and the one with the glasses) are friendly, pleasant, and professional. They kept everything clean and worked well together. Suzi makes an excellent coffee. Restaurant: The drinks were great, and the food was good. It offered a good menu and service with terrace seating. The waitresses are amiable (especially the one who accommodated my extended family with table sitting on my last night; I know your boss gave you a hard time (I noticed it), but you kept your head up and didn't let it bother you- Thank you for all you did. I know how hard you ladies worked. Suggestion: Extending the Bar hours, especially on Friday and Saturday. Pool: Stunning views.

Good clean facilities, great breakfast and nice pool area. Staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a gate providing a shortcut to the beach, and the restaurant just outside the gate provides really great food. Easy to walk around Mindelo from the hotel, and it is close to the port for the ferry to Santo Antao.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Prassa 3 Boutique Hotel offers accommodation in Mindelo. The hotel has a terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Very big room (47 m2). Friendly lady at the reception but also during breakfast. I ate a very good cachupa, served with 2 eggs above. We also appreciate that our delay of one day at arrival was not charged, due to the LUXAIR which couldn’t land at Mindelo airport in time.

Aquiles Eco Hotel is located in São Pedro. The property is 30 meters from the beach and 7 km from Mindelo. WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a balcony. Wonderful stay! The hotel has an amazing architecture. We went in December, so it was super quiet. Steven and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic! They organized our stuff and luggage during room service! Expect African sightseeing views. The beach is 1 minute away and one of the best we visited - don’t forget to have a drink at the turtle bar, play some football with the fishermen, and to swim with the turtles!

Offering a restaurant, Casa Café Mindelo is located in Mindelo. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a minibar. There is also a refrigerator. I only stayed at Casa Cafe Mindelo for one night, but it was the perfect place to stay. Super central. Only 15 minutes drive to the airport, og 10 minutes walk to the ferry over to Santo Antao. Everything in town is within (a short) walking distance, and the Praia da Laginha beach is about 15 minutes walk away. My room and bathroom wasnt too big, but big enough. There was a small fridge in the room as well. I ate breakfast and dinner at Cafe Mindelo and the food was great. They have live music in the evenings between 8 and 10 PM. I went up a little before 10 PM but couldnt really hear much noise in my room. Friendly staff, and all in all a great place to stay on a visit to Mindelo!

Offering an outdoor pool, Oasis Porto Grande is located in Mindelo. At Oasis Porto Grande guests will find a fitness centre. The property is a 10-minute walk from the beach. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, especially Nilza. When flying from Fogo to Sao Vicente, the airline left all out luggage on Fogo. We were due to sail to Sao Anteo but decided to rearrange the ferry and stay in Porto Grande to try and let our luggage catch up with us. There were 8 of us and we only booked in on the day of our stay. They were not phased when we arrived with only the grubby clothes that we stood up in and Nilza was very helpful. She liaised with the airline and airports to establish where our luggage was [getting further than we could] and arranged a large taxi for us all to have a happy reunion with the luggage that evening. Wiyhout hteir help the holiday would have been a lot more difficult.
