Steps from the black sand beach. The second restaurant is walking distance or you can get taxi for about 60 cents

Tarrafal er en liten, hyggelig by med den beste stranden på Santiago. Et par ok hoteller i sentrum, ellers ligger hotellene et stykke utenfor. 3-4 bra spisesteder. Hyggelig lokalbefolkning som du lett kommer i god kontakt med hvis du kan litt portugisisk eller creol. Enkelt å komme til nasjonalparken og gå turer i fjellet.
