Initially I was nervous about booking this location because of where is was on Google maps as it looked to be off the main path. The hotel is right besides the Soccer field, and this turned out to be great. We bought a soccer ball from the local hardware store, and my children ended up playing soccer nightly with the local kids. It was a really great experience for all of us. The hotel is clean, very secure at night, and extremely conveniently located for brining your luggage to and from the dock.

Hotel Serendipity's staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - for example (1) meeting us at the main boat pier on arrival and escorting us, carrying our luggage on a cart, to the hotel, (2) discussing and arranging an excellent birdwatching tour, (3) general housekeeping including fast turnround on laundry. The hotel is very new and pleasant with a central covered courtyard for meals. Location is near the Reserve and the beach but also near a small supermarket and a short walk into the main town.

Green Macaw Hostel is located in Tortuguero. The property is set 400 metres from Tortuguero National Park. At the economy hotel, the rooms include a patio and a shared kitchen. Everything was fine. Eddil the owner was super friendly and helped a lot when staying there. Wifi worked very well, the shared bathroom was very clean and good hot water. A shared kitchen outside with some coffee and tea also available. During our stay my partner had some stomach problems and Eddil supported us a lot. I am really happy even if we were a bit unlucky during our stay. thanks a lot Eddil! ;)

Simple place in the middle of wildlife - at the edge of the jungle and close to the beach. Good breakfast. The tour guides associated with the hotel were great. We had an early morning canoe tour with Bernie.

It is on the beach and 7 min to the peer where you arrive at Tortuguero. They have a shared kitchen you can use. The staff is super friendly.

Tudi zajtrk je zelo okusen. Sobe so prostorne in opremljene s klimo. Edino kopalnica je manjša in temu primerno velik je manjši umivalnik, vendar je gostom na voljo tudi skupna kuhinja vključno s hladilnikom. Vsaka soba ima pred vhodom visečo mrežo.

Nastanitev El Deseo Serendipity Tortuguero s 4 zvezdicami se nahaja ob morju v mestu Tortuguero in ponuja vrt, teraso ter bar. the people are incredibly lovely, picked us up from the harbour and carried our bags to the hotel. greeted us with a fruit smoothie. it is right on the beach. it's incredible.
