Boasting a garden and free WiFi, Hotel Laguna Arenal is located in Unión. All rooms have a private bathroom. Each room comes with a terrace with views of the mountain. Everything ! this place is just beyond perfection. it’s beautiful, you can see the houses were designed with a lot of thought and they are stunning. The view is just wowwww. Even better then the pictures. The breakfast is delicious and big, the staff and the owners are the nicest you can imagine. BEST hotel we had in our honeymoon in Costa Rica ! definitely will be back! thank you

Offering an outdoor infinity pool and a restaurant, Hotel La Mansion Inn Arenal is located in Nuevo Arenal facing the Arenal Lake. Free WiFi access is available, plus there is a bar on site. We loved the gorgeous view of the lake, the birds, horses, and cows we watched in the pasture, the pools (1 heated!) and the breakfast. Staff was super friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious, with charming decoration, and had everything we needed. Loved to watch animals on the terrace in the am while drinking coffee!

Set in a natural rain forest location, Agua Inn is 200 metres from Arenal Lake. It features a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. Everyone was polite and helpful with anything we needed or asked. Laundry service was provided and folded in our rooms once returned from our day out, for a small fee. We really enjoyed our morning breakfasts, and felt they were some of the best we had from our vacation. Hot showers were also a great amenity!

We saw more different types of birds just sitting at the balcony eating breakfast than in any of our hikes (& guided tours) ! 🤩 The room and outside walls are also painted beautifully with tropical plants and birds 😍 Simon is awesome and super welcoming. He will go above and beyond, whatever you need or have Qs feel free to ask away! 3 cutie doggies Gypsy, Milu & Teddy 🥰 Short walk down to the lakeshore for beautiful sunset views ✨ 💯 recommend ! Offering spectacular views of Lake Arenal and Arenal Volcano, Mystica has an outdoor pool, yoga platform and free WiFi in the restaurant and lobby. We loved the gardens, the remote location and visit of tucan birds in the morning.

As the owner says, why pay for the national parks when you can see more bird life here in one hour at breakfast - we had good weather when we stayed - it might not be the same if it rains
