The traditionally built, historic wood and stone house Flyhof in Weesen is a family-owned hotel, set directly at the shores of Lake Walen. Quaint historic inn. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and attentive. The whole place exudes warmth and welcome at a slower pace. Very attentive to our dietary needs (gluten free/celiac) and five star food. Quiet room with comfortable bed. Great hiking right out the door. Our favorite stay of a nearly three week European excursion!

In a quiet location above Lake Walensee, the Hotel Neu-Schönstatt offers a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake. Free WiFi is available and the Flumserberg Cable Car is 2 km away. the view was stunning the nuns were very kind

In a bike trip across Switzerland with stays in 10 different hotels, this was easily our favorite. Not fancy or at all pretentious. Just super friendly and relaxed with a drop dead view.

On the slopes of the Flumserberg Mountain, Hotel Bergheim is a 2-minute drive from Flums and the Tannenheim Ski Area. Kind staff, good location, modern bathroom

Just 300 metres from the Maschgenkamm Cable Car, the Cristal Hotel is right next to the slopes and a ski lift of the Tannenboden/Flumserberg Ski Area. Amazing location. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Great food!

Rooms at Hotel Sonne feature panoramic windows with a view of the Glarus Alps. The hotel is just 4 km away from Walensee Lake and Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Great hotel with the amazing view from the room. Good restaurant and delicious breakfast!
