The lady (can’t remember her name) who is from the French-speaking part of Switzerland was lovely. She made restaurant reservations for us and made very useful recommendations on things to do in the area. We had a great walk to see the church (about 30 minutes) and enjoyed our stay. We came at just the right time when guests left the night before so we had the residence all to ourselves. One thing that is a mini detail is that the showers in the rooms had ample space to bathe and lots of clean hot water. There was a “hot pot” available on site to enjoy while taking in scenic views. The breakfast was tasty and delicious. This is a historic property that owners have really done a great job with. Highly recommend!

Situated in Avegno, 8.1 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, casa FABBRO features accommodation with barbecue facilities, free WiFi, luggage storage space, and private check-in and check-out. Host was very nice and showed us the location. The location is lovely and very clean, the kitchen and bathroom have everything you need! We were there for our climbing trip and it was perfect.
