Mountain Paradise in Zermatt has a sauna and a steam room. Quiet surroundings and views of the Matterhorn Mountain can be enjoyed at the property which is located in the Winkelmatten suburb. it was home away from home, cosy and had a good view of the Matterhorn as well as just 5 mins walk away from glacier paradise! the staff were awesome and gave tons of information on what we wanted to do!

Offering stylishly furnished rooms with balconies and coffee machines and free Wi-Fi, the Testa Grigia hotel has been completely renovated in 2010. Hotel Garni Testa Grigia is in an excellent location on the main street of Zermatt, less than 5 minutes walking from the train station. Check in was smooth and the receptionists at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was small as was to be expected for a single room but modern (better looking thant the photos) and had everything I needed. Value was very good for Zermatt, even the breakfast was included.

The property is right in the middle of the town. a very quick walk to the main station or if you call the hotel before you arrive, a shuttle picks you up on arrival.

Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi. Loved the quiet atmosphere inside the hotel and outside. Lovely interior in the lobby and restaurant, alpine style, with lots of wood and cosiness. The Alpine single room is ideal for a single traveller. Nothing unnecessary, perfect cleanliness and freshness, just like in four-star hotels. Soft feather pillow, comfortable soft mattress, weightless blanket... Just open the window and sleep in the freshest air. And all around you, there is silence, no shouting or talking until midnight. The hairdryer in the room was like a hairdryer for home, with several switches, not an inconvenient tube with one mode nailed to the wall, as often happens in hotels. The views from the windows are beautiful and very atmospheric. The view does not rest on the rough concrete wall of the neighbouring house, there is enough space, air and beauty in the windows. The breakfast is excellent, a great choice for all tastes. And how tender were the waffles! And the jam! Every morning you can taste new jam, it's like homemade! The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm, beautiful people sit and talk quietly, without any fuss and shouting, it was a pleasure to be among them. Impressive large windows and views, perfect company for breakfast. Hotel Jägerhof is love at first sight.

Situated close to the ski lifts in Zermatt, Alpen Resort & Spa features a restaurant, and spacious rooms with cable TV. I love the resort and location. It is walkable from the zermatt station but also comes with an option of a mini shuttle running from 7am to 9pm at a call from the station central. I also love the entertainment, pool and spa which I can do within the resort. Staff were friendly as well! Had an opportunity to try out their Hornox restaurant and I think the food were pretty good. …and would like to thank the hotel for the thoughtful ‘gift’ as well! :)

Cozy, great location, quality at all levels, from staff to the food and service! Warm, welcoming, plus we had a room with a spectacular view, the restaurant as well, the direct access to the ski room was a plus! We will definitely return, maybe in summer to enjoy Zermatt’s beautiful setting and the wide range of activities that it offers!

The hotel was amazing, from getting picked up to the check in with the hotel owner. Everything was perfect, breakfast was fantastic with the option to get anything you needed or wanted would be cooked. We enjoyed having some wine sitting by the fireplace both afternoons. The hotel was far enough but close enough to the main street. The staff were super helpful and accommodating, even having the owner coming up to us at breakfast to make sure everything was okay was a really nice touch. The beds were super comfortable and the turndown service was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was great and a variety of items, the views were great (although we were in the Petit Cervin we were upgraded to a room with a view of the Matterhorn) and the location of the hotel was ideal. The facilities were brilliant but I have to say that the reason we enjoyed our stay so much was because of the staff. Bruno and his colleagues (especially in the boot room) were so helpful, so kind and so attentive. We felt truly looked after and they made our stay that bit more special.

Everything was wonderful from the room, the view, the comfort and the breakfast was the best we've had in our 2 month vacation - price of which was included in the room. Two minutes from train station and the main village which was absolutely perfect. Others had to catch little cabs or even horse drawn carts.
