We stayed here in 2022 and now again in 2023...and this is still one of those really great unique hotels...top of the Grimsel Pass in central Switzerland...the weather determines everything...one moment thick cloud and then a stunning view..thats the Alps for you. We had a great terrace overlooking the lake ...the room is huge...the bed as comfy as comfy land...lots of hanging space and spotlessly clean....

The Hotel Landhaus is located at 1,370 metres above sea level in Münster in the Goms Valley. It offers a large lobby with panoramic views over the Alps, a sauna, and free WiFi. The location was close to many places to do activities. I think it can be travelled in all seasons, including the spring season. The room was very comfortable, there are all kinds of facilities in the hotel.

Exactly what we were after! Direct access to the ski tracks, a sauna, lot's of space to read, play, work or talk in a very in-distractive environment. And even the yoga lessons. Conveniently located very close to the train station and to the gondola lift to the Aletsch Arena, we had a warm welcome. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant offers an excellent dinner, with many home made dishes and special touches which are very enjoyable. On top of the usual menu, seasonal options were on offer. We tried the homemade "foie gras" and the marinated salmon. Delicious with excellent service, definitely worth going. The same applies to the breakfast, which included the homemade "Dreikönigskuchen" on top of the regular options (ham, cheese, cereals, yogurt, fruits, brioche, bread - including gluten free...) Excellent stay overall.

The hotel and its design was modern but not overwhelming. The very few cases where a king/queen size bed came with a single mattress and not with double. The bathroom was fantastic too. Staff at the restaurant was very helpful with great recommendations.
