WOW WOW WOW Fantastic host - Ferdinand - extremely welcoming, chatty and great sense of humour. Beautiful boutique hotel, complimentary water, amazing breakfast, including freshly boiled eggs. Decoration throughout the hotel was exquisite. Great staff - helpful, polite and friendly. We were on a 16 day trip, visiting France, Italy and Switzerland. This hotel was by far the most outstanding, due to the decor, facilities, breakfast and the staff, lead by the fantastic Ferdinand! We will be back for sure!

Located right in the Old Town of Burgdorf, the elegant Hotel Stadthaus is only 300 metres away from Burgdorf Palace and the church. All rooms feature Nespresso coffee machines. It’s a beautiful house in the middle of the old part of town. The rooms are spacious, the beds big and comfy, the bathroom modern and large. Staff was very friendly, breakfast great.

In a scenic location just a 20-minute drive from Bern, at the entrance to the Emmen Valley, Bio Garni Möschberg offers quiet rooms with a balcony and views of the surrounding fields and fine cuisine... The staff were extremely welcoming, the location was stunning, the place was impeccably clean and immaculate, the food was amazing, and the pool was divine to swim in. I loved, loved, loved my stay.

Hotel Berchtold er et nytt hotell, og tilbyr en sentral beliggenhet i byens shopping kvartal. Hotellet tilbyr privat garasje for parkering. Fra hotellet er det kun 1 min. gange fra stasjonen. The only irksome thing was the Wifi. Most hotels just let you into their Wifi as a guest and the others just need a password. Having to sign into Swissscom and giving them all sorts of info was a little over the top for me.

Located in Sumiswald and within 29 km of Bernexpo, Hotel Bären features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Super helpful and friendly staff. I liked the breakfast and my room. The room was big, clean, quiet.

Located in the village of Eggiwil in the Emmen Valley, Hotel Hirschen enjoys a quiet location a 40-minute drive from Bern. It offers a large terrace and a miniature golf course. Best location best price and very friendly staff especially the chief of property Mr. Alexander.

Located 2 km from the village of Zäziwil in the Emmen Valley, Hotel Appenberg offers rustically furnished rooms in 12 historic buildings. A restaurant can be found on site. The location was lovely and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was outstanding with an amazing selection of local cheeses and meats. We had stunning view from our balcony. For staying in Switzerland, I thought the prices were right.

The Hotel Mooseegg in the scenic hilly Emmental region is only a 40-minute drive away from Berne and Thun. It offers gourmet cuisine, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Excellent staff location and food

Located in Kaltacker, amid the scenic surroundings of the Emmen Valley, Landgasthof Lueg offers a restaurant, individually decorated, themed rooms, and free WiFi access.Spa access is at a fee. A wellness trip that should bring relaxation and a bit of activity was what I was looking for and it was exactly what was offered at the Lueg. The german couple that manage the hotel are were so nice in accomodating me. So many little things. For example they noticed that it was my birthday and lit a small candle on a small cake for me; so cute! Then they fired up the wellness area although I was the only one using it. But I was so greatful. It gave me exactly the relaxation I needed after a hike which was also aided by some recommendations by the host. Then the two dinners and the perfect service by the bavarian waiter on the first night. As there was a seminar going on at the hotel at the time, there was a small conflict in intressest in the smokers lounge. The waiter managed this situation like a boss. He quickly took the initative when he realized my wish to have a smoke after dinner and asked the people from the seminar what their plans were. Then he organized the two rooms for each of us and everybody was happy. That's what I call perfect service. This guy should get a raise :) The hotel is off the beaten track, but that's exactly what I was looking for. Still it is reachable by public transport directly from Burgdorf.
