So many things went wrong, starting with the hire car we had organised. The staff of the hotel went above and beyond to help us find ways to get there. She stayed in contact through the day and helped with more issues that arose as our day went from terrible to dreadful. When we finally arrived at the property, it was such a relief. The hotel is beautiful. It’s clean and has all the amenities you need. I was especially appreciative of the mini bar!

The hosts are nice, the rooms are very clean and spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. We had the perk of having a balcony, which my wife enjoyed very much. There are no mosquito screens but there is an AC unit and you will keep cool in the summer even without opening the windows. The bathroom is also very nice and it even had a shower cabin, which is rare in Bulgaria. The hotel is located on the edge of town in a very nice district close to the Thracian Tomb. It is very quiet during at night and walking distance to downtown. The breakfast in the morning was nice, although it did take some time before we got served. It is not buffet style, but you have the choice between 5-6 different breakfasts. I would stay there again, if I am in town.
