Boasting a fitness centre and views of the river, Emporium Hotel South Bank is set in Brisbane, 400 metres from South Bank Parklands. Love the outlook over the river, right next to train station so incredibly convenient to the airport. Had two very pleasant walks along the riverfront. Tons of cafes & restaurants nearby. Room was better than the new Sofitel in Bangkok. Large room, comfy beds, big bathroom, room for bags. Felt really luxurious. Roof top bar & restaurant was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious. Loved it. Definitely staying there again whenever in Brisbane.

Featuring a private saltwater lagoon, sandy beaches and an artificial reef with tropical fish, the 28-storey JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is set in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The Ocean-view room was great and also gives a good view of a parts of the Hinterland. The room and bathroom is nice, bright and spacious. We had a very comfortable stay and slept very well. Room temperature can be controlled well via the touch panel. It was nice to swim in the long pool and dip into the sea-water pool down to 4 meters where we could spot some fish.

Vi hadde ein fantastisk tur til Australia og Brisbane. Byen, handelssentrene, utflukter, cruise på elven, flyturen over områdene og strendene. Rent og pent, overalt vi ferdes. Meget god og rikeleig med mat i måltidene. Hyggelige folk. Eit fantastisk kontinent å besøke i 28 - 30 gradersvarme, med sol og kjempeflott vær. eit fantastisk opphold hadde vi !!! Lett å ferdast med buss og tog. Fantastiske strender litt lenger nord, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, osv. Flotte sandstrender midt i byn, utrolig vakkert og flott !!! (bildet)
