The hotel, location and overall the whole vacation was amazing! The views of the mountains from the window were magnificent. The area of the resort is very clean and there is a lake next to it where you can relax. Very nice rooms, with comfortable bed, bath and shower. There is a store on site where you can buy necessary products and goods, at adequate prices.

Hotel-Garni Sandwirt is a 5-minute walk away from the centre of Bad Ischl and 500 metres from the Eurotherme Thermal Spa. Free WiFi is available. We came in around middle to late May and had the 6 bed Dormitory to ourselves! The bathroom was spotless, with fresh towels every morning. The bed was comfy. The lockers was located right outside our room and had lots of room to store valuables. There was also bed lamps , a sidetable as well as a fan provided, which was well used. The only issue we ran into after getting caught in the rain we hoped to use the washing machine but tokens (not moneh coins ) were needed(from receptions) and we were back too late and realised too late that we had to ask reception for them but they are only there between 1 to 5. They also have a hairdryer and extra toilet rolls and 2 in 1 soap/shampoo. Would recommend.
