The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty. The hotel is located on the upper floors of the shopping center (separate entrance and staircase). Parking spaces in the underground car park in the shopping center (inside there are signs leading to the entrance of the hotel). The old town is beautiful and the city of Steyr can be treated as a stop on the way to the Alps.

The cable car Hinterstoder - Wurzeralm Bergbahnen is no more than a 10-15 minute drive from the village house. The ActivCard we received from the hotel owners allowed us to use the cable car every day for free. Not far from Hinterstoder is Lake Almsee (1 hour driving) with a beautiful mountain view around. You can walk around the lake in the forest on a sunny day, as we did, or rise above the lake and admire it from above. The concert of the owners of the house, arranged for the guests of the house, made the stay there simply unforgettable. We felt at home in the Sonnfeld Hotel. It was very sad to leave this place. We stayed Landhaus Hotel during our family ski trip and loved everything. Maria and Ferdinand went beyond and above to take good care of us. The room was comfortable and we had delicious breakfast included. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we felt like visiting our family! The hotel is a walking distance from the village but for the ski lift is better to take a free ski bus, I guess this was the only small inconvenience.
