Hotel Alpenhof lies in Bach, 3 km from the Großarl-Dorfgastein Ski Amade. Amazing stay for a hiking trip. Beautifully-designed rooms with super comfy beds, extremely friendly staff and a wonderful location. I was really thrilled to have taken half board for my stay too (4 course dinner). The food is excellent and the dessert is fabulous.

The cable car is just a short walk away. rarely do you find a hotel with such lovely, courteous and considerate staff… everyone of them are an example… well done

A 5-minute walk away from the centre of Großarl, Hotel Pension Roslehen enjoys a quiet location next to the Hochbrand Cable Car. The south-facing sun terrace offers panoramic mountain views. Good hotel, but the main point here - it is EXCEPTIONAL sauna. I put below some pictures of it. Finnish sauna, wet sauna, turkish hammam, spacious rest area with water beds, tea corner, everything brand new! Of course, you got bathrobe, towels etc. Good breakfast and dinner (we took half board). Clean and spacious room with balcony. Friendly staff. Parking.
