Boasting spa facilities, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, House of Jasmines Relais & Châteaux offers chic décor, in a quiet area 12 km off Salta City. The gardens and surrounding area, with the birds and wildlife were so beautiful and wonderful to relax in. Breakfast was very good, a wide choice of freshly cooked options as well as cereals, sweet pastries and cakes, juices and a variety of teas and coffees, served in the beautiful dining room. Dinner was always delicious, with locally sourced produce and superb wine. The staff were extremely kind and very helpful in organising trips and transfers.

An outdoor swimming pool can be enjoyed in an elegant colonial-style mansion, 1 block away from the Wine Museum. All rooms have private balconies with garden views. Wi-Fi and private parking are free.... Great staff! It's a family-run hotel and the two brothers that run it are very, very accommodating and helpful. We had a WIFI problem at first and one of the brothers came down and replaced the router. Breakfast was great. One of the brothers is the pastry chef and he makes great pastries! They were very helpful about giving us local information. It's not the most modern hotel, but rather has the feel of an old Spanish hacienda. We loved it. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again given the opportunity. It's a few blocks away from the noisy downtown area around the square, but easy walking distance in the daytime. They have good, covered parking if you have your own car, as we did. Great value for the price as well.

Set in a refurbished colonial house just in front of El Molino de Pueblo Church, Hacienda de Molinos Hotel boasts an outdoor swimming pool overlooking Nevado de Cachi Mountain. There is a restaurant. The building was amazing. The restaurant as well. And they are super friendly and helpfull. It is by far the best hotel in the region!

Viñas de Cafayate. Wine Resort is surrounded by vineyards and offers authenticity with it´s colonial style architecture and design. Such a great hotel in Cafayate! There was a view of the beautiful pool and vineyards from the terrace, and from the front door a view of a pasture with horses. The room was comfortable and they provided wall plug-ins to repel mosquitoes (since you’re staying outside the city in a vineyard, mosquitoes are inevitable). Great breakfast and overall fantastic stay.
