Combines the comfort of a 4-star Boutique Nature Lodge with an equine or any other outdoor activities for romantic gateways or family vacations. Friendly staff helps to organize horseback riding on one of our 20 well-trained horses led by excellent and enthusiastic guides, as well as arrange any other excursions. Amazing retreat if you love horses and dogs. The staff are amazing, genuinely friendly and have a passion for what they do.

We had a large room with 4 windows, and we could see both the town and the island of Pico. Breakfast was great, and the staff very nice and competent. The whole lodge is very nicely decorated and there is a general feeling of quality and design. We found easy parking one block up in front of the church of Carmo, with the added advantage of friendly street cats.

The lodge is very cosy, clean and has all the facilities you need. The breakfast is fantastic, but usually a bit too much :) The location is only a few minutes from the town center by foot and provides a stunning view over the harbour and if the weather allows it the neighbouring island of Pico and its impressive mountain.
